Nopper is a modular system to build cupboards and desks. The construction originated from research into building toys for children. These plastic blocks, stored with lots of small studs, can easily be attached to each other. This principle has been simplified by using four studs to be assembled on the corners of both sides of a shelf. By attaching four studs above and below a shelf a loose leg can slide in between them to become a stable construction. Nopper can be assembled in lots of different variations by playing with studs in three proportions placing them on a specific grid.

Bio
The objects of Bram Kerkhofs are distinguished by the ability to transform using buttons, hinges or connections, they are the results of a persistent search for the right balance between material, form and construction. From an urge for perfection in the combination of materials, forms and techniques, an eye for detail and finish and a nose for composition and proportions Bram creates timeless functional objects with a lot of depth. Forces, tension and stability often form the base from which the balance between composition and construction is examined.
