The development seeks to set in place an example of integrating the public realm and contemporary market space to become a landmark in a unique harbour-based urban landscape. This one of a kind development will place people and food at the centre of the architectural response, with an emphasis on place-making as a leading recreational destination for local and foreign tourists. The architectural language of the Fisherman’s wharf aims to complement and blend in with the surrounding context. The entire development adopts tropical design principles with the use of passive design principles.
