Mahjongg - My Way

I created the designs for a complete set of mahjongg tiles. Once finished on Illustrator the designs were then etched and cut on acrylic using a laser etching machine. The designs are in two parts - the front design and a separate thin layer on the back with my logo. These were then fused together and placed in a case which was also etched with an image of two large dragons and my logo. These images include the original color designs, the black and white designs used on the laser etcher and images of the process.

A long time ago I ‘threw’ the I Ching using pennies, and I didn’t understand the importance of the answer.

The the final hexagram - Inner Truth, also known as Inner Most Sincerity. “Centering in truth involves becoming conscious of the relationship between your heart and the circumstances of your life.
