Microplastics in human stool

In this work, the artist's own feces were dissolved with potassium hydroxide, and a protein detection fluid was used to examine the residue. A near-infrared spectroscopic sensor was then used to identify the microplastics, and the results were photographed with a Scanning Electron Microscope.
