"After Hours" is a series of color photographs about absence, human trace, and occupation of space made in the offices where I used to work (as a former management consultant) and my husband’s office when it was under construction. The photographs are details of conference rooms and visitor offices – public shared spaces within an intentionally impersonal environment that are marked by the history of human traffic. There is a tension between surface and points of rupture. The images in this series were made between 2004 and 2006 and range in size are sized 20x24†and 30x40â€.
