The design of bed and breakfast (B&B) must take into considerations its comfortability and commercial strategy. Bed and breakfast is to tourists what visual effect is to art performance, of great importance to designer. For the client conducting yacht-touring business, the designer starts the design plan based on the idea of “boat,” which has become the principle applied on both the architecture appearance and the interior design. Given the long but small base, the designer locates the staircase on the middle of the base where the daylight would scatter the indoor space directly, figuratively presenting the vision when coming out on the deck from the cabin. Positioning from its 11 to 1 o’clock, the architecture gets the sunlight straight to the reception hall, displaying the texture of the wood-finish tiles.
