Storage system

40M2 of floor area.3 m. of height.2 occupants. One table. Two chairs .The sofa. The bed. Pillows, various cushions. One potted plant-let’s call it a spike plant. Three lamps .One wardrobe. The fridge .My books. Blankets. The sheets that were a present from my Mum. The coffee maker, cutlery, my wine glasses. The bath robe…my electric guitar!!!!! Too much stuff for so little space? Let’s make use of the dead spaces which architecture provides for us, and let them be functional. That’s what inspired this design project- a storage system for items not in everyday use. An object defined by the actual space which it occupies and which, at the same time, re-configures that space. A type of object that gives rise to a search for other spaces of this type, including those generated by other objects.
