Death Valley

This project required a printmaking process known as photo-transfer. Initially I took pictures of the cars that had been crashed, put to the side of the road, and forgotten. After transfering the ink, I used charcoal and pencil over the transfer on canvas to enhance the important details. The framing of the pictures emphasizes the fragility of life and the idea that tragic events that one experience are often forgotten by others, but never forgotten by those who experience them.
