40 Years of Luminosity

A handcrafted gift to world renowned Tino Kwan’s 40th Lighting Consultant anniversary celebrations, the raw materials were bought from Japan “Tokyu Hands”. It was initially inspired by the potential creation of light transmission through the acrylic poles. The artist/ designer handcrafted the 40 pieces of poles lighting object to celebrate “Unity of Light”, an exhibition featuring 40 Years of Tino Kwan’s iconic projects.From the plan view of the object, it does appear 2019 as the year of the celebration. The object is a composition of 40 poles representing 40 years of achievement.

Bio
Wesley Liu is very well-known in creating harmony and warmish style interiors at all scale. After graduated with a Master degree in Design from the College of Fine Art, University of New South Wales in 2007, having worked with a celebrated architectural firm, he founded his design studio PplusP Designers Limited in 2009. Within the years, his works have received numerous accolades, including the Best of Year Award (US), American MasterPrize (US), International Property Awards (UK), Design for Asia Award (HK), Perspective and A&D Trophy Awards (HK) and Asia Pacific Interior Design Award – APIDA
