Becoming a coral reef ( Devenir un récif corallien )

My art explores the relationship between human beings and ecology through different art forms. My recent works use artistic narrative creations such as watercolor and oil painting. The pictorial representation of human beings, through fragile ecosystems, such as endangered coral reefs, marine and biological life etc, are preponderant in my inspiration.

Bio
Shun Tzu HSU is a taiwanese artist, teacher and researcher, living currently in Paris. She graduated with a Master's degree in Research Theory of Arts and Culture, Plastic Arts, Aesthetics at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and Archaeology at Sorbonne Université. She has a Master's degree in Visual Arts at Taipei Municipal University of Education, and Bachelor of Fine Arts at National Taiwan University of Arts. Her painting works have been selected for Artexpo New York 2023, in a Contest with Finalist Award of Circle Foundation for the Arts.
