    Along with a growing presence on the international cultural map, Mexico has also emerged as a rising diplomatic force in San Diego. Consulate has outgrown its three-floor building and needs a more significant presence in the City's diplomatic and cultural milieu. In addition to improved services, privacy, and security, a program focused on cultural exchange, education, and business within the San Diego-Tijuana region was added. The design created a space that is elegant and contemporary but also, welcoming, comfortable and warm, reflecting the Mexican traditions of hospitality to all.
