    After more than a decade, Istanbul Painting & Sculpture Museum opened in October 2022 with a project by Emre Arolat Architecture. The superimposition of the new function on the existing entrepot building of S.Hakk? Eldem gave a rise to a permeable and transitive public space located at the heart of the city. The new structure is a visual dialogue with the context and the memory: the concrete grid of Eldem’s original building has been preserved with a rational yet fresh approach of spatial arrangement. Within this grid, visitors will experience an unalloyed relationship with the art pieces.
