    Series 'In the Shadows' is a part of the visual fantasy story, a body of work that started in 2013. Depicting anthropomorphic figures, the animals in the work connect man-made places with nature. Through subtle allegorical elements, they also convey a message about what's going on in nature and how it relates to our society when we're not paying attention. It offers viewers a unique experience, a journey through a fantastical world but with a strong connection to the present and natural world around us.
