    The designer hoped to bring the sense of nature to customers and therefore applied Karesenzui, rock-imitated materials, and Baizou volcano ashes to construct landscape in many ways. The fish pond, artistic cement floorings symbolizes the imagery of water. The wooden materials of cypress, teak, unpainted wood, and rust are used on walls to add layers into the space to metaphor the complex behind the simplicity of sushi cuisine. By applying pure and simple materials, and particular layering design methods, the dining environment has successfully recreated the spirit of Japanese cuisine.
