    Radiance, mood, feeling - our perception is filled with phenomena that are often diffuse, fleeting and difficult to describe. I emphasize these affective qualities in my figurative illustrations. The artistic approach is to depict the shadowy, the not too obvious, the associative. I see the humor of a being in its gestures and therefore I visualize its appearance and character traits. The illustrations describe a kind of inner attitude of the sitter, whereby atmosphere and expression are in the foreground.
