This work was created when I dismantled a cardboard box that contained a can of soda water. Taking advantage of the round marks left on the bottom of the can, a cutter was used to make cuts along the marks. By breaking the inside and outside of the cuts, the rustic texture of the cardboard and the sharp lines of the cuts create a contrast. This contrast gives the work a unique charm and depth.
