SPACES FOR SPONTANEOUS SINGING brings uninhibited singing from the privacy of one’s shower to the public street, in an intergenerational, urban mini ‘singing shower park’.  In play and joy, the vulnerable boundaries of private and public dissolve. By reversing public and private stereotypical spatial designations, it explores ideas about belonging-where we feel comfortable, where we hide, and where we test our private face in public. An affordable design made of plumbing piping, accessories and plywood, the design of shower stages and audience seating reference shower head perforations.
