CONTAMINAZIONI

Eva Tomei and Raffaele Alecci decided for this project to put together their experiencen ad mix their different genres, merging the instant photography with the ancient techniques.
The “Contaminations” project arises from a real contamination of techniques: through the creation of an internegative, you pass from a Polaroid snapshot to a contact print in cyanotype.
The subject is the city of Rome: its contemporary and modern architecture lends itself to such radical, contrasting, monochromatic interpretation. Their travel notebook has recall the prints of the late nineteenth century

Bio
Born in Rome in 1976, graduated from the Roman School of
Photography and from the Rossellini Institute. She collaborated
with the Prospekt agency, with the Camera21 association currently
part of the LUZ circuit. She has exhibited in numerous national and international festivals, in group exhibitions, solo shows and fairs throughout Italy and abroad. Her work is part of a collection of young authors from MIbact.
