This museum will unite a world-class collection of modern and contemporary art with a robust artist-in-residence program and innovative educational and scholarly programs. The 105,000 s.f. museum will sit on the hillside of Erez Ben Gurion amongst other cultural sites such as the Holocaust Museum. The sloped nature of the site will take advantage of views overlooking the Jerusalem Mountains and forest and the distant hills that surround the city. Materials such as local stone and wood will further reinforce the museum into its immediate environment.
