    Makerhood is a community center and coworking space that offers green job training to spur local wealth in a neighborhood facing gentrification. The conceptual driver is “where innovation meets access.” Pivoting glass walls form an open-air plaza, inviting the community to take advantage of the makerspace. Elements like accessible circulation, a green air quality system, and culturally informed design create a multi-faceted center for local empowerment, innovation, and grassroots future-building. Makerhood adapts symbiotically to provide environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
