    BlueBird is a constructive folding exercise in blue steel plate.
    For this design I started with a plate of 1 mm blue steel. With that raw material I wanted to design a table that was as light as possible. Because of the sophisticated sandwich construction the table is solid and elegant at the same time. The heavy, raw material and the feather-light design form and unexpected yet seductive contrast.
