The two textile caskets ivik are used to store favourite objects.
Their lantern inspired shape stays in form thanks to the systematic embroidery of the basic fabric. The surfaces are embroidered multiple times, which provides the necessary stability. Through the non embroidered lines it can be easily folded and is giving ivik its shape.
The inner lining lifts when the bags are opened and brings the content closer to the user for easier handling.
Bio inuk kollektiv develops products for the living space. The design studio combines the three design disciplines product design, textile design and jewellery design.
With a high sensibility for material, inuk kollektiv creates products with a playful approach. The aesthetics are shaped by manufacturing technology and the relationship between the user and the product. A reduced visual language as well as the love for details make up the formal signature of the design studio.
