2020 Vision

January 2020 heralded the worst bush fires in Australian history, destroying millions of acres, houses,heritage sites.As an Australian artist I watched as the fires uncontrollably spread across the country and a State of Emergency was declared.In February as the fires were finally contained and the recovery process began, Covid 19 hit our shores and a National lockdown was declared, enforcing social isolation and self quarantining.
This image is my creative response to the haunting unease felt globally regarding climate change ,pandemics and mental wellbeing.

Bio
I have been working as a photographic visual artist for the last 25 years, exhibiting extensively throughout Australia, as well as holding solo shows in London, Shanghai and Barcelona.
My work is collected privately in Australia and abroad,and held in the collections of the South Australian Art Museum, West AustralianArt Museum, ArtBank, The National Gallery of Australia.
Parallel to my art practice I have been working as a Film/TV Stills photographer. My credits include "Shine", "Rabbit Proof Fence", "Star Wars Ep 2".
In 2014 I received my Masters in Photography: Sydney College of Arts
